The small holiday resort of Illetas (or Ses Illetes) is located directly by the sea in the southwest of the Balearic island of Mallorca between the two villages of Bendinat and Cas Catala. Illetas belongs to the municipality of Calvia and is around 20 minutes from the island's capital, Palma de Mallorca. The bay of Cala Comtesa or Playa des Illetas, which is almost 100 metres long and 40 metres wide, offers a light-coloured sandy beach and crystal-clear water surrounded by pine-covered rocks.
