Rather small, but very nice - the natural bay "Caló d'en Pellicer", between the Platja and the Club Nàutic Santa Ponsa. U-shaped and surrounded by medium-high rocks, with calm waters and a shallow beach, fine sand and plenty of shady trees as well as a playground on the access path to the beach, also ideal for families with small children. Nearby, El Toro, Costa de la Calma and Paguera are also ideal for a day by the sea.
Club Nàutic Santa Ponsa is a small picturesque harbour with a selection of charter yachts, a diving centre and terrace restaurant. It is just a few minutes' walk from the centre.
With a property in Santa Ponsa, you are only a stone's throw away from Port Adriano. The harbour, redesigned by French architect Philippe Starck, is not just a port of call for yacht owners. In addition to shops, bars and restaurants, there is also a diving centre and sailing and yachting schools. The "Puig de sa Morisca" archaeological park is located between the Jungle Parc and the golf course. Visitors can visit three archaeological sites of the Talayotic culture and various architectural remains on the 35 hectares of public land. Explorers are also rewarded with breathtaking views of Santa Ponsa, the bay and the municipality's landscape.
Also worth a detour is the windmill at the Santa Ponsa exit. Over 200 years old, the Molino de Santa Ponsa is the town's landmark. A crooked staircase along the wall leads to the old building and the grounds with small wooden benches. Surrounded by blossoming countryside, you can relax and enjoy the panoramic view.
If you want to add a little vigour to your day, you can spend your time at Golf Santa Ponsa I to III. Santa Ponsa II with 18 holes and large lakes and Santa Ponsa III with 9 holes and lots of trees can only be played by members. However, they are allowed to bring guests to a limited extent. Golf I, on the other hand, has 18 holes and is open to the public.
Slightly larger balls can be hit at the Santa Ponsa Tenis Club. Or at the Maritim Galatzo course in the neighbouring town of Costa de la Calma, which is open all year round.
Located in a pine forest, the "Jungle Parc" climbing park in Santa Ponsa offers the perfect setting for adventurers of all ages on a 9-hectare wooded area. With various levels of difficulty, the high ropes course is also ideal for families with children.
The nearby coastal town of Magaluf offers several attractions: The largest is the "House of Katmandu" theme park. Other highlights include the Western Water Park, the go-kart track and the Wave House with a surfing centre.
